Special Issue – What is it?
Special Issue is a collection of research papers focused on a specific topic / theme.
Its purpose is to promote academic discourse on a particular problem, new research area or contemporary issue.
It is usually prepared under the supervision of Guest Editor(s).

2. Contemporary Relevance - The topics selected in Special Issue are usually related to current policy, society, science, or education.
3. Guest Editors - In this, an expert/professor/researcher is appointed as “Guest Editor”, who conducts the entire issue.
4. Call for Papers - For a Special Issue, a Call for Papers is issued in advance so that authors can send in their research papers on that particular topic.
5. Fast-track Publication - Special Issues are often time-bound and are published quickly.
